spinners trip

Well the trip was a little longer than last year but worth every mile. Not many members of CNYRHA were able to make the trip but those who did made a good showing for us "northern" reiners.

The Horse Park is currently under construction for the upcoming 2010 WEG. Even so what a beautiful place to visit. I felt so humbled around so many famous horses that were buried there. The four board white fences and mles and miles of rolling pasture land made me want to take a gallop through the fields myself. The people that will be coming from Europe to the games will certainly get a great imression of the Equine history and future in the USA!

Congrads to Tom Hoyt and Colonel Pepenator and Grace Like Rain for qualifying for the NAAC Finals in OKC in both Int Open and Nov Horse Open 2. And also congradulations to Jackie Hoyt and Grace Like Rain for their 6th place finish in the NRHYA team tournament. There were 16 teams this year! So nice to see so many up and coming reiners.

It was also nice to see Helen and Lyndsay Chemberlain who made the trip to watch.
I get to go to Congress in October! Maybe I can rub hoof with some top futurity reiners!
